Born & raised in The Glass City (Toledo, OH), my creative journey began with a childhood love of colorful art, interior decorating, & baking. Since art wasn’t a career focus for me back then, I pursued healthcare careers, including my childhood goal of becoming a surgical technologist. But the surgical suite was not the best fit for me. So while raising my family, I’ve enjoyed working simultaneously as a home-health aide & a custom cake designer over the last two decades.

Bringing custom cake & cookie designs to life for local families & businesses shifted something in me. After enjoying over a decade of successfully running my home bakery, I decided it was time to pivot. That’s when I discovered the world of surface design in 2019. While figuring out my next steps, I had to deal with the pandemic, both of my parents succumbing to cancer 2 years apart & coming out of all of that with a chronic illness diagnosis.

But I’m still here & that pull to create is stronger than ever!

The same spark that drove me to make people smile with edible art now fuels my passion for creating artwork that brightens everyday life on stationery, paper goods, home decor, wallpaper, & more.
